Eddie Huang, the celebrity chef behind Baohaus, host of Vice TV’s Huang’s World, and author of acclaimed memoir Fresh Off the Boat, comes to Chop Shop to discuss his latest book, Double Cup Love. After coming of age and discovering what it means to be Taiwanese-Chinese in America, Eddie travels to China with his brothers in tow as they hunt for their family’s roots, but as he gets deeper into China, he realizes that he might have left his heart in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Eddie Huang is proprietor of the NYC restaurant Baohaus, author of the memoir Fresh off the Boat, executive producer of the ABC show based on that book, and host of Vice TV's Huang's World.

Brian Babylon is a Chicago-born comic and radio host. The self-proclaimed “Prince of Bronzeville”, is a fixture in Chicago's rich comedy community. He hosted and produced The Morning AMP radio show on Vocalo 91.1 FM, a sister station of WBEZ / Chicago Public Radio. He’s also been making a name for himself outside of Chicago, placing in the finals of the New York Comedy Contest in 2009 and in 2012 selected to the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival. He is also one of the fan favorites of the popular NPR weekly news quiz show Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, contributes to BBC Radio, hosted The Moth StorySLAM in Chicago, and has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central.
